Research Amplification Specialist
UL Research Institutes invites you to join our Columbia, MD office as a Research Amplification Specialist. In this role you will collaborate with researchers and subject matter experts to distill complex research findings into accessible, engaging, and audience‑appropriate content.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute marketing plans to amplify UL Research Institutes’ Fire Safety Research Institute findings and maximize reach and impact across multiple channels and audiences.
- Support development of press releases, media materials, and content to build relationships with media outlets and journalists.
- Create content for social media campaigns to promote research findings and engage the online community.
- Develop promotional material for events, webinars, and workshops; support logistics for virtual and in‑person events.
- Identify potential partners, including nonprofits, government agencies, and academic institutions, to amplify reach and impact; co‑promote initiatives with internal stakeholders.
- Analyze data on reach and impact of distribution efforts; report key performance indicators and adjust strategies as needed.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and audience preferences.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Professional Education And Experience Requirements

- Experience in a research or nonprofit environment preferred.
Salary Range $61,199.38 – $84,149.14
