Position: Psychiatric Prescriber (Child & Adolescent Team)

About the Role

We are seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or a Board-Certified Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist (MD/DO) to join our growing Child and Adolescent prescribing team. This is an opportunity to work in a collaborative, supportive, and mission-driven outpatient environment dedicated to improving mental health outcomes for children, teens, and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain an active clinical schedule as outlined in your contract.
  • Provide thorough psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive therapy (not to be the primary therapist).
  • See patients promptly and allocate sufficient time for comprehensive care.
  • Code appointments accurately for complexity and time.
  • Complete documentation promptly (begin notes within 24 hours, finalize within 1 week).
  • Review and respond to patient portal messages daily.
  • Communicate effectively with staff and collaborate with therapists and other clinicians.
  • Ensure clinical coverage during any time off and log time off in Bamboo

    HR.
  • Participate in case discussions, provide peer support, and engage in ongoing learning.
Qualifications
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) program — or MD/DO with board certification in Psychiatry.
  • Board Certification: PMHNP-BC (for NPs) and/or Child & Adolescent Psychiatry (for MD/DO).
  • Active, unrestricted license to practice in the state of Maryland.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience (for Nurse Practitioners).
  • Excellent clinical judgment, communication skills, and empathy.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary Range $170,000 – $270,000 (commensurate with experience and credentials). Additional bonus opportunities are available each quarter.
