Schedule: Five 8-hour shifts per week, 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM. Every other weekend required. On-call coverage includes 1 shift per week plus 2 eight-hour weekend shifts in each 6-week schedule period.

- 1:1 patient ratio providing safe, age-appropriate care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
- Advanced surgical environment featuring da Vinci robotic technology, minimally invasive techniques, and evidence-based care
- Comprehensive case mix including Trauma, ENT, Colorectal, Plastics, Neurosurgery, Surgical Oncology, Orthopedics, Robotics, Vascular, Thoracic, and more
- Charting system:
Cerner/Surginet; scrubs provided - First-time travelers welcome; local candidates accepted
- Active Maryland or Compact RN license required at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience required
- Level II trauma experience required;
Level I trauma and teaching hospital experience preferred - BLS certification required
- 16-hour Maryland-approved trauma course required (must be completed by week 27)
- 8 hours of annual trauma CEUs required
- ACLS, NIH, and PALS certifications preferred
- Must be proficient in a wide range of surgical procedures including thoracic, ENT, endoscopic, general surgery, gynecology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, and trauma
- Experience with emergency OR response, fire safety, malignant hyperthermia protocols, and latex allergy precautions required
- Experience with electrosurgical units, fiber-optic equipment, and Steris equipment required
- Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)

AdditionalInformation:
- Floating within scope may be required to meet facility needs
- Time off requests of 14 days or less are auto-approved; holiday restrictions apply (every other winter and summer holiday required; no time off on hard-to-fill days)
- 40 hours of orientation provided
- Virtual modules completed on first day (8 hours for new starts)
- Block scheduling not available
- Assignment duration limited to 365 days; minimum 6-month separation period required before returning
