Overview
Havtech Supply is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to deliver high-level customer support. This position is responsible for processing customer quotes and orders, answering technical questions about our product, suggestively selling, upselling, or cross-selling product, and providing exceptional customer service regarding Light Commercial products to ensure customer satisfaction. This position is responsible for sales, inventory, purchasing, pricing, and warranty administration.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Identifies and processes customer orders and responds to customers’ inquiries and questions for HVAC parts, equipment, and supplies via e-mail, text, phone, and over the counter.
- Maintains knowledge of HVAC products, offerings, and promotions to ensure customer confidence and continued desire to partner with Havtech Supply over our competition.
- Proactively builds awareness of products, services, and promotions in conversations with customers and in performing outbound calls to potential and current customers.
- Strives to execute sales with high accuracy to expedite the fulfillment process and ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Able to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve potential customer problems and ensure company adherence to policies.
- Assists with warehouse work as needed: cycle counts, shipping & receiving, material stocking, and inventory control.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications Include The Following- A unique combination of education, experience, or demonstrated accomplishments is required. GED or High School Diploma required. (Combination of bachelor’s degree, two years of inside technical sales or related technical or parts sales experience.)
- HVAC Industry experience is strongly preferred
- Daikin Comfort experience is strongly preferred
- Proven track record with inside sales and superior customer service skills, particularly in managing challenging customers and their issues.
- Strong sales skills with an understanding of a well-developed sales process. Ability to listen, gain trust and find the best solutions for our customers.
- Excellent oral/written communication and a team-player attitude.
- Must be action-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously and effectively.
- Must have strong computer skills/competency.
