Tenable is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our core product engineering teams. You will help design, develop, and maintain cloud-native, large‑scale cybersecurity products that protect organizations worldwide. Our platforms operate in complex, ever‑changing environments and demand innovation in scalability, reliability, and performance

As a Software Engineer you will work across the stack, building microservices, APIs, and user interfaces, leveraging modern frameworks and cloud technologies
. Your contributions will directly enable customers to secure their applications, infrastructure, and digital assets at scale.

• Implement new features, fix bugs, and enhance the scalability and reliability of our systems.
• Develop expertise in distributed systems, cloud platforms, and modern UI frameworks while working on real‑world security products.
• Work closely with Product Managers, UX designers, and fellow engineers to iteratively improve our products.
• Contribute ideas to improve Tenable’s architecture, development processes, and technology stack.
• Write clean, maintainable code, participate in code reviews, and help drive engineering best practices.

• 2+ years of experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer in SaaS or cloud‑based applications.
• Hands‑on development experience with Java or Kotlin
  .
• Proficiency with at least one modern UI framework (
  React, Angular, or Vue.js
  ).‍
• Solid understanding of RESTful API development and microservices architectures.
• Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms
  .
• Experience with databases (SQL or No
  
  SQL such as Postgre
  
  SQL, Dynamo
  
  DB, Elasticsearch).
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and Git‑based workflows.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with a focus on building reliable, performant, and secure applications.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Passion for continuous learning and keeping up with emerging technologies.

• Experience with event‑driven systems (Kafka, SQS, SNS, etc.).
• Familiarity with infrastructure‑as‑code and observability tools (Terraform, Prometheus, Datadog, ELK, Splunk, Pager Duty).
• Prior experience in cybersecurity, Dev Sec Ops , or related domains

• Exposure to multi‑tenant SaaS or hybrid cloud architectures

US Pay Range: $107,000 – $143,000 USD. The base pay will depend on factors such as qualifications, skills, competencies, location, and experience.
