Location: Columbia, MD #HYBRID

Duration: 12+ months Contract

Interview Process: Virtual Interview followed by In-Person

Rate: $50/hr

Responsible for design and development of Salesforce applications for local claim data processing systems in the health care domain. Duties include understanding requirements, coding, testing, debugging applications, ensuring high quality product delivery, participating in the entire project lifecycle from planning to implementation, reviewing and approving production code, and providing technical oversight to IT project teams.

• Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce applications using Lightning Web Components, Apex Triggers, Apex Classes, Flow, Visualforce, SOQL.
• Build REST APIs for external system integrations.
• Develop unit tests and support automation testing to ensure high quality code.
• Participate in code reviews, deployments to upper environments, and debugging of issues.
• Publish technical documentation and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate closely with developers, testers, business analysts, project managers, and product managers.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, related IT field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience building, deploying, and supporting Salesforce applications and platform solutions.
• Proficiency in Salesforce application development and platform customization.
• Experience with Lightning Web Components, Apex, Flow, Visualforce, SOQL.
• Experience building REST APIs.
• Knowledge of object‑oriented programming design patterns and Salesforce data modeling best practices.
• Experience developing reporting and dashboards in Salesforce.
• Experience with JIRA, Agile, and source control systems such as Git/SVN.
• Excellent presentation and collaboration skills.
• Optional:
  Agentforce 360/360 knowledge, Data 360, multi‑cloud architectures, AWS cloud development, call center Salesforce, CI/CD pipelines (Copado), AI knowledge, Agentforce DX, integration with other SaaS.

• 50% Salesforce Application Development:
  Efficiently deliver solutions, code review, deployment, maintenance, support D2D requests, and publish documentation.
• 20% Design of System / Requirement Analysis:
  Understand requirements, analyze existing systems, research new Salesforce features/releases to improve performance.
• 20% Testing / Technical Support:
  Write unit test code, support automation testing, troubleshoot and debug issues, provide resolution.
