Software Engineer Security Clearance

Position: Software Engineer 2 with Security Clearance
The Software Engineer (SWE) develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements. Works individually or as part of a team. Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results.

Resolves software problem reports. Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment. Provides specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components. * Candidates should demonstrate a strong background in developing enterprise-grade Java applications with experience matching the listed skills based on the software development focus area. There is a need for all skill sets.

* Ability to debug and resolve application errors and performance bottlenecks in a timely and effective manner

* Ability to clearly communicate ideas and status updates to peers and management
* Experience developing software with Git, Maven, and Gradle Server-side/Back-end position skills:

* Experience developing high-performance, multi-threaded Java applications or applications executed in distributed computing environments

* Knowledge of the Spring Framework and Dependency Injection
Full-Stack position skills:
* Full-stack software development experience

* Experience developing web applications

* Accessibility (a11y) and Section 508 compliance

This range is a good faith estimate that reflects various experience levels. This range is not a guarantee of salary, as final compensation may also be influenced by contractual requirements and other considerations.
