Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Inventory Clerk
Location: Frederick, MD (Fully Onsite)
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Pay Rate: $21–$23/hour
Type: Contract-to-Hire
Start Date: Immediate
Base pay range$21.00/hr - $23.00/hr
Job OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipping and Receiving Inventory Clerk to join our team in Frederick, MD. This fully onsite role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse or logistics environment and is looking for a long-term opportunity with potential for permanent placement.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Accurately document and label incoming and outgoing inventory using internal systems.
- Organize and maintain inventory storage areas to ensure efficient retrieval and tracking.
- Prepare items for shipment, including packaging, labeling, and coordinating with carriers.
- Collaborate with warehouse and procurement teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely deliveries.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or inventory control preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with inventory software and basic computer skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
