Caregiver/HHA Columbia at Senior Helpers

We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as In‑Home Caregivers. As a caregiver, you will provide essential assistance to individuals in need of support within the comfort of their own homes.

• Assisting clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Providing companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Helping with meal preparation and medication reminders.
• Performing light housekeeping tasks (laundry and linens).
• Accompanying clients to appointments and outings.
• Monitoring and reporting changes in client's health or behavior.

• Prior experience working with elderly clients in a caregiving role is preferred.
• Familiarity with assisting seniors in activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting.
• Understanding of dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and other memory‑related conditions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A caring attitude and the patience to work with clients who may have physical or cognitive limitations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a criminal background check and drug screen prior to employment with Senior Helpers.
