Apply for the Corrections Cadet role at Mississippi Department of Employment Security

Corrections Cadet pay will start at $17.50 per hour.
Responsibilities- Primary responsibility in security such as key room, dormitory, control center, field, trip, or gate officer.
- May act independently or under general supervision.
- First 6 weeks (paid training):
Mon - Fri 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM. - After training:
Mon - Fri 5:45 AM – 6:00 PM or Mon - Fri 5:45 PM – 6:00 AM.
- High school diploma or GED.
- One year of continuous employment in any field of work can substitute for the high school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license.
