We are seeking a dedicated Laborer to join our traveling Heavy Highway team. This position requires regular travel to multiple Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). sites
, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will perform duties as needed needed to support project completion.


Responsibilities
  • Assist with general construction tasks, including loading and unloading materials, digging trenches, and operating hand and power tools
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
  • Collaborate with site supervisors and other construction staff to ensure project success
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in construction practices
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to travel is required
  • Experience in construction or related industry required
  • Experience operating heavy equipment is strongly preferred
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds and working in all weather conditions
  • Basic math and measurement skills
  • Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team
