American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg-Tele RN for a night shift contract requiring telemetry experience and an active MO or compact RN license.

• Med/Surg-Tele unit in an acute care hospital setting
• Patient ratios of 1:5-6
• Night shift schedule, 4x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend schedule required
• Floating required, including to other MS units or MS/Tele as a Patient Observer (sitter)
• Cerner charting system preferred but not required

• Active MO or Compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of telemetry experience required, first-time travelers considered
• Community hospital experience required
• Skills in IV therapy, phlebotomy, central line and PICC line management preferred
• Experience with cardiac monitoring, telemetry, and rapid response/code team protocols preferred
• Must be able to ambulate, reach, and move objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs

• Provide direct patient care for Med/Surg and Telemetry patients, including cardiac monitoring and emergency response as needed
• Role involves routine contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses
• 50% holiday coverage required, including Dec 24 and Dec 31, 2026
• Local candidates are accepted, though those within 50 miles are not eligible and those 51-74 miles away may be offered a local rate
• Local candidates will not be eligible for extensions beyond the initial contract
• Maximum of 10 days RTO allowed, none during the first week due to orientation
• 36 or 48 hour contract options available
