You will be responsible for directing daily tasks, mentoring junior team members, and ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial construction, with the ability to provide their own tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform a variety of tasks, including installing doors, windows, trim, drywall, and molding.
  • Framing & Drywall:
Frame walls and install drywall to repair holes or cover surface wear, including scraping popcorn ceilings.
  • Electrical:
Handle light electrical tasks, such as repairing switches, fuses, wall sockets, and installing ceiling lights, fans, and garage door adjustments.
  • Plumbing & Fixtures:
Install and repair faucets, toilets, hot water tanks, garbage disposals, and dishwashers.
  • Exterior Maintenance:
Maintain grounds by picking up trash, trimming trees, watering lawns, and repairing siding and gutters.
  • Winter Maintenance:
Be available for snow duty, including shoveling, plowing, and spreading ice melt during the winter months.
  • Team Coordination:
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding task assignments, time management, and project scope.
  • Inventory Management:
Maintain a clean and organized inventory of tools and equipment in company storage and vehicles.
  • Safety Compliance:
Adhere to safety standards and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by the company.
  • Record Keeping:
Log accurate time and detailed work records using the service-tracking app on a mobile device.
  • Tracking Protocols:
Adhere to and actively promote company tracking protocols and procedures, including using data for billing confirmation, emergency response optimization, safe-driving habits, and recording driving data in case of an incident.
  • Other Duties:
Perform additional tasks as needed to ensure projects are completed on time and to specification.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Experience: 5+ years of construction experience, including both residential and commercial projects.
  • License:
Valid driver's license with a corporate-insurable driving record.
  • Physical Requirements:
Ability to grasp, lift, maneuver, rotate, and use various trades tools and equipment. Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects (50-80 lbs.).
  • Skills:
Basic computer literacy, including the use of service-tracking apps. Basic math skills required for project measurements and calculations.
  • Safety & Compliance:
Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain a strong focus on safety and project security.
Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable and punctual with strong time management skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing project demands and schedules.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced construction professional who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment. If you have the skills and leadership abilities we're looking for, we encourage you to apply!
