Finance Manager

Finance Manager for Columbia Borough, PA Columbia Borough is seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Manager to oversee our financial operations, ensuring fiscal responsibility and sustainable growth for our historic community. You will play a crucial role in managing funds that directly support public services, infrastructure, and quality of life in a charming riverside town, Work closely with Borough Council and department heads to shape our financial future, Manage diverse financial activities, from budgeting and auditing to grant management and long-term planning.

Key Responsibilities will include;
Oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger, Lead budget preparation, monitoring, and reporting for all Borough departments, Manage investments, debt, and cash flow to maximize Borough resources, Prepare financial statements, reports, and analyses for Council and the public, Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and Human Resource responsibilities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, experience in municipal or public finance preferred, Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
