Compensation: $36.93 / hour

The following is a list of general responsibilities and skills necessary to perform the duties of the (Journeyperson Millwright) classification (labor grade 9):

• Perform all duties in a safe and responsible manner
• Diagnostic and repair tools and equipment used in dissembling, repairing and installing mechanical equipment
• Common reasons for mechanical failure and the steps necessary to correct malfunctioning
• Responsible for varied types of motors and their operation
• Working with the Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems
• Analyze mechanical problems, organize assigned maintenance and repair work, and develop effective work methods
• Rebuild and install new and/or rebuilt assemblies in equipment
• Weld broken parts, burn and fabricate
• Reading and interpreting maintenance manuals, using diagram schematics and parts manual

• The ability to cut with a torch
• Welding experience
• Fabricating experience
• Trouble shooting pneumatic and hydraulics
• Excellent follow-up skills with the ability to complete assignments/projects through to completion
• The ability to work with different tools such as grinders, drills/hand and presses
• Can identify bearings
• Know and understand metric for measuring
• Being able to read a tape measure
• Ability to work independently
• Possesses a sense of urgency and ownership

• Starting pay rate $36.93. $2.00 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts.
• Standard shift Monday-Friday
• Offered Over Time
