Continuous Improvement Manager

Position Title: Continuous Improvement Manager

Department: Continuous Improvement

Location: Columbia, PA - Plant

How You Will Help
  • Lead and facilitate continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and other CI methodologies.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in lean manufacturing and other CI tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify inefficiencies and implement solutions that improve safety, quality, delivery, inventory and productivity.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to build CI capabilities across the organization.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to CI initiatives.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure adherence to lean principles and CI standards.
  • Support strategic planning and long-term operational goals through data-driven decision-making.
  • Engage in the company wide network of CI practitioners to accelerate best practice sharing, process and tool development.
What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • 710 years of management experience in a manufacturing or foundry environment.
  • Proven track record of leading successful CI initiatives with measurable results.
  • Deep expertise in lean tools and methodologies, including but not limited to: 5S, Standard Work, VSM, SMED, TPM, Kanban, and problem solving.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with ERP systems and data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel)
Preferred Attributes
  • Experience in metal casting or foundry operations.
  • Change management expertise.
  • Ability to coach and mentor teams in a hands‑on, shop‑floor environment.
