Master SchedulerASC Engineered Solutions is looking for a Master Scheduler who is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing the production schedule to ensure on-time delivery, efficient resource utilization, and alignment with customer demand. This role serves as the central link between sales, operations, supply chain, and production teams, balancing customer requirements with shop floor capacity in a fast‑paced machining/manufacturing environment.
How You Will Help- Production Scheduling
- Develop, publish, and maintain the master production schedule to align demand, capacity, and materials availability.
- Translate sales forecasts and customer orders into executable shop floor schedules.
- Manage schedule adherence and proactively adjust for changes in demand, equipment downtime, or material constraints.
- Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with sales, supply chain, and operations to balance customer commitments with internal capabilities.
- Collaborate with supervisors, planners, and purchasing to ensure timely availability of raw materials and tooling.
- Communicate schedule priorities, changes, and risks to stakeholders.
- Capacity & Resource Planning
- Analyze capacity constraints, machine loading, and workforce requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of production planning or scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment (machine shop experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and production planning tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills to influence and align cross‑functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent skills and abilities to create and modify Excel files.
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
