$70,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join a growing team in Columbia, SC. This is a full time, permanent position with full benefits. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of general accounting experience and strong MS Office experience.

Duties:

• Oversee accounting operations for 9 small businesses
• Oversee Cash planning for 13+ accounts
• Manage Accounts Payable and ensure proper coding and approval of invoices
• Manage Accounts Receivable and cash application
• Oversee collections and management of past due accounts
• Provide assistance with human resources duties
• Handle onboarding new employees
• Oversee the approval of bi-monthly payrolls
• Journal Entries of payroll expenses to the general ledger
• Oversee month end duties
• Oversee income Statement & Balance Sheet Review
• Complete account Reconciliations
• Assist with Income Tax preparation and Property Tax preparation
• File of sales and use returns
• Oversee reporting, analysis, and booking of revenues
• Work with CFO to get GAAP audit-ready
• Complete Ad-hoc analysis as needed in each operating business

Skills:

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Business Administration
• 5+ years of general accounting work
• Expereince with complex accounting
• 2+ years of managing multiple books

Hours:

• Monday to Friday (8am to 5pm)
• 100% onsite
• $70,000 - $ 80,000
