Tax Manager - Public

We are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to join a growing public accounting team in Columbia, South Carolina. • Direct, coach, and develop tax team members by assigning work, reviewing deliverables, and providing constructive performance feedback.
• Build and maintain strong client partnerships by responding to questions, addressing concerns, and delivering dependable guidance throughout the engagement lifecycle.
• Analyze complex federal, state, and local tax matters and present practical recommendations supported by thorough research.
• Oversee multiple tax engagements at once, managing timelines, priorities, and quality standards to meet deadlines effectively.
• Contribute to practice growth by supporting proposals, participating in presentations, and identifying opportunities to expand client relationships.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and emerging industry developments, translating new requirements into actionable guidance for clients and internal teams.
