Cardiologist, Medical Doctor
MUSC Health is seeking a full-time BC/BE Interventional Cardiology physician to join our heart and vascular program, with dual responsibilities at our heart and vascular programs in Columbia and Orangeburg, South Carolina.
While in Columbia, South Carolina, you will work with 30+ cardiology providers across MUSC Health - Columbia Medical Center's Downtown campus. MUSC Columbia Medical Center Downtown was ranked spot on the PINC AI list of the 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals for 2023.You will have full access to cardiac CT and MRI, 3D echocardiography, cardiac PET and SPECT equipment, as well as a cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology labs via the downtown location.
For responsibilities in Orangeburg, South Carolina, you will work with 5 cardiologists: 3 non-invasive and 2 interventional. Full spectrum practice is available, with opportunity for advanced imaging and a cardiac catheterization lab onsite.
These practices are part of MUSC Health's greater Heart & Vascular Center, which provides compassionate care and advanced treatment to patients across South Carolina. MUSC Health Heart & Vascular Center has received the Society of Thoracic Surgeons 3-star rating 20 years in a row, is accredited by the Society of Chest Pain Centers, and is a Blue Cross Blue Shield of South Carolina Blue Distinction Center for Cardiac Care.
About the position:
- Full spectrum practice, outpatient and inpatient.
- Access to advanced cardiac imaging modalities (Nuclear, stress, echo, TEE, CT, MRI)
- Fully staffed cath labs at both locations, with access to coronary and peripheral cases. Structural procedures also available at the Columbia Downtown campus.
