Position Details:
Start Date: ASAP for the 2025–2026 school year
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours/week)
Grade Levels: K–12 students
Positions: 5 Positions available
Certifications: Must hold a School Psychologist license in SC
Compensation: Starting at $40/hour (commensurate with experience)
Location: 100% On-site with possibility of hybrid support with a maximum of 2 days remote/virtual

ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:
- Conduct psycho educational assessments and evaluations to identify students' academic, cognitive, social-emotional, and behavioral strengths and needs.
- Interpret assessment results and communicate findings clearly and understandably to students, families, teachers, and school staff.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), behavior intervention plans (BIPs), and academic interventions based on assessment data and students' educational needs.
- Provide counseling and psychotherapy services to students individually and in group settings to address social-emotional concerns, behavioral challenges, and mental health issues impacting learning and well-being.
- Consult with teachers, parents, and school staff to provide strategies and interventions to support students' academic, social, and emotional development in the classroom and school environment.
- Conduct crisis intervention and support students and families in crisis or emergency situations, collaborating with school administrators and community resources as needed.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives and professional development activities related to school climate, positive behavior supports, social-emotional learning, and mental health promotion.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of psychological assessments, counseling sessions, consultation meetings, and other relevant documentation.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
- Previous experience working as a School Psychologist in a school or educational setting (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment measures, testing procedures, and diagnostic criteria.
- Excellent understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices related to the provision of psychological services in schools.
