DescriptionUnder the direction of the Branch and/or Production Manager, the Loan Originator markets and promotes Prime Lending products and services to realtors, builders, bank officers, and potential and past clients. This role involves office or non-manual work related to the management or general business operations of Prime Lending and its customers.
Responsibilities- Evaluate Prime Lending’s and other loan products to determine the best financial solutions for customers.
- Establish and maintain relationships with realtors, bank officers, builders, and new home sales representatives to develop and retain business, including visiting subdivisions as needed.
- Market and promote Prime Lending’s financial products.
- Meet the company’s minimum production standards in funded units/volume each month by processing complete and accurate loan applications using Prime Lending’s products.
- Manage customer interactions from application to closing, including counseling and pre-qualifying home buyers.
- Collect and analyze customer income, assets, investments, or debts information.
- Advise customers on various loan products’ advantages and disadvantages.
- Service existing customers, collect necessary documents, fees, and lock-in information.
- Monitor loan status and ensure compliance with terms.
- Communicate loan status to relevant parties and collect documentation post-closing.
- Present loan terms and conditions to customers.
- Stay informed about local real estate market trends, regulatory changes, and industry developments.
- Maintain a professional image and adhere to company policies.
- Potentially supervise other loan officers, assistants, or processors.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent; appropriate licenses as required by state.
- Valid driver’s license and current automobile liability insurance.
- Minimum 12 months of loan originator experience.
- Effective communication and judgment skills; ability to process large data volumes using AU software.
- Active community involvement and organizational participation to expand professional network.
- Continuous industry knowledge development.
