Job Description/Summary
The Radiology Technologist II performs routine diagnostic radiographs and is responsible for performing minor interventional procedures under the supervision of a radiologist and/or licensed fluoroscopic supervisor.

Minimum Training And Education
Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology. Minimum of 1 year work experience.
Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required.

Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations
:
Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.

lift and carry 15 lbs unassisted (Infrequent); lift/lower objects 15 lbs from/to floor from/to 36 inches unassisted (Infrequent); lift from 36 inches to overhead 15 lbs (Infrequent); maintain 20/40 vision, corrected, in one eye or both eyes (Continuous); see and recognize objects close at hand or at distance (Continuous); color discrimination (Continuous); depth perception (Continuous); maintain hearing acuity with correction (Continuous);

gross motor with frequent fine motor movements (Continuous); work in a latex safe environment (Continuous); tactile sensory function (Frequent); olfactory sensory function (Frequent); respirator qualification (Continuous).
