The South Carolina Department of Administration Division of Enterprise Applications is seeking an experienced scrum master to guide daily activities. As a scrum master, you will facilitate and coordinate agile scrum processes within our organization, ensuring the team can work collaboratively and efficiently to deliver high-quality solutions.
This position is responsible for removing impediments and facilitating Scrum ceremonies to include daily standups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and Sprint retrospectives. You will work closely with the product owners, Stakeholders, and product development teams to ensure that the work progresses on schedule, within budget, and to the desired level of quality. Additionally, you will serve as a coach and mentor to our team, helping to foster a culture of Continuous improvement and ensuring that the team is meeting its objectives consistently.
Duties/Responsibilities- Facilitate Scrum activities such as daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective. Ensure the team follows the Scrum framework and agile principles.
- Promote continuous improvement through retrospective and feedback Sessions.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
- Track KPIs and help teams deliver high-quality products/solutions on time.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required.
- Certification in Agile methodologies such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master.
- 3 years of hands-on experience with Azure Dev Ops.
- Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum principles and practices.
- Proven problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives).
- General conceptual understanding of programming and database querying.
- Prior experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., Azure Dev Ops, Jira, etc.).
- Experience in managing hybrid project environments combining Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- General conceptual understanding of programming and database querying.

- Government experience is desired but not required.
