. Job Description Summary
The Senior Project Manager oversees the administration, direction, and coordination of field supervisory personnel and subcontractors in the operations division. The role maximizes profit, controls costs, and ensures stability and future growth. Acting as the primary interface between Ajax and the Architect, Engineer, and Owner, the Senior Project Manager reports directly to Operations and Regional Managers.

• Prepare and manage project budgets and schedules.
• Audit project activities from contract signing through warranty completion to ensure efficiency and profitability.
• Provide active participation in the company’s Quality Improvement Plan.
• Supervise personnel and maintain good relations with Project Managers and Owners.
• Approve overtime hours, contract agreements, and costs of outside repairs and equipment.
• Maintain accurate reports for top management on time, cost, quality, and safety.

• Hire, terminate, and modify duties of assigned personnel following company policies.
• Oversee training and evaluate personnel performance.
• Audit job site for efficiency and accuracy.
• Act as company representative in negotiations with owners.

• Minimum:
  Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Preferred:
  Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

• Required:
  
  6+ years of construction management experience.
• Preferred: 10+ years of construction management experience.

• Understanding of industry practices and trends and their corporate impact.
• Advanced interpersonal, communicative, and organizational skills.
