Location: 5 Richland Medical Park Dr, Columbia, South Carolina, , United States of America

Coverage Area: Prisma Baptist & Richland

Shift: 6p-6a / 3-12's

Responsibilities
  • Deliver care to patients with end‑stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease in a hospital setting.
  • Provide specialty nephrology care—including Hemodialysis, Peritoneal Dialysis, Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) and Apheresis.
  • Oversee a group of patients with the support of PCTs, conducting patient observations, measuring vitals and machine setup.
  • Work with a small interdisciplinary team of clinicians; maintain a positive environment.
  • Respond to patient needs and adapt schedules; flexible to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Float to various facilities during and after training as required.
Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited school of nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); a three‑year diploma may be substituted.
  • Experience in ICU, CCU, ER, or Med‑Surg settings.
  • Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN).
  • Training may take place in a facility or a training facility other than your assigned home facility.
  • Successful completion of a pre‑employment color‑blind test (accommodations may be provided).
  • Full vaccination against COVID‑19 required by hospitals; booster may be required when eligible.
  • Dialysis experience required.
