We’re seeking compassionate and skilled ICU nurses who hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or are currently enrolled in a BSN or MSN program from an accredited institution (verification required). Education & Experience:
- BSN required (or currently enrolled in BSN/MSN program with graduation within three years)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (CCRN preferred)
- Previous ICU or critical care nursing experience strongly preferred
Skills & Knowledge:
- Proficient in ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and advanced cardiac life support
- Strong critical thinking and rapid decision-making skills in high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Familiarity with accreditation standards, safety protocols, and evidence-based practices
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift, push, and assist patients or equipment up to 50 lbs
- Frequent standing, walking, and repositioning of patients in critical care settings
- Clear hearing and vision to respond to alarms, assess patients, and communicate effectively
- Provide continuous monitoring and assessment of critically ill patients
- Administer high-risk medications (e.g., vasopressors, sedatives) and manage IV drips
- Operate and troubleshoot advanced equipment, including ventilators, monitors, and infusion pumps
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and adjust care plans
- Educate families on patient conditions and involve them in care decisions when appropriate
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and state regulations
