Job Opportunity – ICU Registered Nurse – South Carolina
Start Date: October 19, 2026
Location: South Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 3x12 hour shifts, days; weekend coverage required; flexibility to float within hospital system as needed
Highlights:- Intensive Care Unit setting with diverse case mix including stroke, trauma, cardiac, neurosurgical, COPD, GI bleed, overdose, post-cardiac cath, and end-of-life care
- Opportunities to work with advanced equipment including CRRT, targeted temperature management devices, and EKOS
- Epic charting system utilized; 1:2 patient ratio experience required
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, physical therapy, and radiology
- 12-hour orientation provided; first-time travelers welcome with minimum 1 year ICU experience
- Float assignments may include CICU and other critical care areas within the organization
- Active South Carolina RN license (must be active at time of submission)
- Minimum 1.5 years of ICU nursing experience; travel nursing experience required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
- Epic charting system experience required
- Proficiency in critical care skills including dysrhythmia interpretation and management, multisystem organ dysfunction management, arterial line and central line management, continuous IV sedation, titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips, BiPAP/CPAP management, ventilator care, ABG interpretation, and suctioning
- Experience with special procedures including chest tube insertion, EVD drains, CRRT, and acute stroke management
- Two supervisory references required
- COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions and declinations accepted)
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- Candidates residing within 50-mile radius will be considered at local rates
