Registered Nurse – ICU (Neuro)

Columbia, SC | Acute Care

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

• Provide direct patient care in a Neuro ICU setting, including management of complex neurological conditions such as subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH)
• Manage and monitor external ventricular drains (EVDs) and lumbar drains
• Perform and document NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) assessments as required
• Float to other qualified units and/or campuses as requested based on census needs, performing only tasks for which competencies have been demonstrated and documented
• Complete all required pre-assignment modules and annual compliance requirements within designated time frames

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of recent Neuro ICU experience required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience with Epic EMR
• Must reside more than 100 miles from all system facilities to be eligible at full rate; candidates residing 90–99.9 miles may be considered at a reduced rate; candidates under 90 miles are not eligible

• Hands-on experience with EVD and lumbar drain management
• Experience caring for subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) patients
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to floating assignments across varied units

• Pre-assignment orientation modules are billable (up to 16 hours), offering compensation for your preparation time prior to the start of your contract
