Job Summary

To enforce State Laws and City ordinances on PHR Campus. Provide a law enforcement presence in the ED and other assigned areas of the PHR Campus.

Job Description

Essential Functions

* All team members are expected to be knowledgeable and compliant with Prisma Health's values:

* Assists Security Services with enforcement of PH rules or regulations if requested.

* Assists PH Security Services Officer if assistance is requested.

* Completes official police incident and accident reports as they occur on PHR campus.

* Provides a direct liaison with CPD and PH.

* Provide a CPD vehicle on the PH campus as a deterrent

* Patrols key areas (i.e. Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit and other areas assigned by PH Security Services).

* Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities

* This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.

Minimum Requirements

* Education - High School diploma or equivalent OR post-high school diploma/highest degree earned

* Experience - No experience required.

* Current Certification in Basic Law Enforcement through the S.C. Criminal Justice Academy, currently employed by the City of Columbia Police Department.
