** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare location.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or public agencies as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

+ Carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific procedures.

+ Document observations, incidents, and actions taken through clear, accurate reports and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site personnel.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Have at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.

+ Possess an armed guard card or license.

+ Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
