** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare location.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate hospital personnel and first responders as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

+ Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, restricted-area access, and directions throughout the healthcare facility.

+ Carry and maintain authorized equipment, including firearms, in accordance with Allied Universal policies, client requirements, and applicable laws.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.

+ Possess an armed guard card or license.

+ Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
