** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and authorized personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Monitor access points, verify identification and authorization, maintain visitor logs, and control entry and exit in accordance with facility procedures.

+ Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel as directed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, and the facility perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

+ Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and access-control activities in accordance with site requirements.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Must meet DPSS/DHS tuberculosis test and MMR vaccination requirements.

+ Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.

+ Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
