The RIP Classroom Coordinator supervises operation of RIP Classrooms. This role creates and maintains weekly classroom lesson plans and activity centers;
Creates and maintains children's puzzle task boxes;
Provides training for parents/adults for classroom coverage. Provides classroom supervision;
Organizes and participates in regular large group meetings for parents. Participates in program development and evaluation activities;
Participates as an active member of the program staff team;
Trains and supervises volunteers;
Assists in program tours;
Participates in special RIP presentations as appropriate;
All other duties as assigned. Regular and Reliable Attendance is required.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED required;
Bachelor's Degree preferred - Graduates of the RIP program preferred
- Knowledge and experience in working with young children and their families helpful
- Compensation for this role begins at $16.00 p/hr
