On offer is an opportunity to get your PE License. This company will walk you through the full process, sitting your FE exam, gaining the qualifying experience to ultimately achieve your PE license.
This industry leading machinery manufacturer has been established for nearly 100 years and is continuing to grow year on year, investing in both their machinery portfolio and the engineering processes that support it. As a result of continued growth, they are growing their electrical team to support their expanding operations.
In this role you will take projects from concept through to production, completing electrical controls design (wiring and schematics), PLC programming and troubleshooting, and system-level electrical work across a range of machinery (including 120–560V, single and three phase).
This role would suit an Electrical & Controls Engineer from a machinery manufacturing background looking for long-term development, increased technical responsibility, and support to progress toward PE licensure.
The Role:- Electrical & controls design for machinery projects from concept through to production
- PLC programming and troubleshooting
- Wiring and schematic design (AutoCAD Electrical / Rockwell environment)
- On-site role in Columbia, TN; typical hours 8am–5pm (approx. 45 hours/week)
- Electrical / controls design experience within machinery manufacturing
- Experience designing control panels and wiring using AutoCAD Electrical.
- PLC programming and troubleshooting on Rockwell.
