In‑House Counsel for Construction Company [Columbia/Spring Hill TN]
Latitude is working with a Middle‑Tennessee based construction company to provide a fractional in‑house counsel who will review and negotiate contracts and provide day‑to‑day legal advice on a broad range of construction‑law matters. The role is on an engagement basis through Latitude and requires the successful candidate to work on‑site in the Columbia/Spring Hill, TN area. This position offers a mid‑level attorney a chance to move fully in‑house or to refine in‑house generalist skills and may transition to a permanent hire.
Responsibilities• Review and negotiate commercial contracts, including construction and vendor agreements.
• Provide day‑to‑day legal advice on construction‑law matters and other general legal issues.
• Work independently and collaborate with a team of attorneys and client staff.
Minimum Qualifications- 5+ years of experience practicing law; prior in‑house experience preferred.
- Expertise in construction/development legal issues and extensive experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Outstanding professional references.

Part‑time – Full‑time. - Location:
Hybrid; onsite weekly in Spring Hill/Columbia, TN.
Pay:
Annualized pay ranges from $150,000 to $190,000 on a full‑time basis. Contract engagement pay is based on experience, qualifications, and market factors.
