Produce estimates from conceptual and schematic drawings. Produce detailed, final contract estimates. Assess site exposures and construction risks and analyze cost and reflect these in an estimate. ldentify construct-ability issues throughout the estimating process and identify value-engineering alternatives. Perform takeoffs and contribute to all aspects of producing successful estimates.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any), Construction Management, Manufacturing or related field of study (
* pre-baccalaureate or post-baccalaureate experience acceptable) and two years of experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained. Must have demonstrated experience with: HCSS Heavy Bid; road construction estimating in Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) projects; road construction assemblies and all project phases; ordering initial construction materials; managing submittals;
Blue Beam; and Civil 3D.
