Join Columbus State University to apply for the Graduate Assistant-Simulation Lab Assistant position. This role supports undergraduate nursing students and maintains the Simulation Lab.
Job SummaryThis position will assist in teaching undergraduate students Health Assessment and Clinical Skills as well as maintain the Simulation Lab and supplies.
Responsibilities- Provide instruction to prelicensure BSN students on health assessment techniques and clinical skills.
- Maintain equipment in the lab.
- Set up simulation rooms for various simulation scenarios for prelicensure students.
- Restock simulation supplies in the lab.
- Perform other Simulation Lab duties as assigned.
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.
- Licensed as an RN (registered nurse) in Georgia with an unrestricted license.
- Three years of experience working as an RN.
- Ability to teach undergraduate students health assessment techniques and clinical skills.
- Knowledge of routine equipment used in the hospital setting.
Salary is commensurate to experience and education and includes a tuition waiver. This position can work up to 19 hours per week.
