Job Description

Responsibilities- Enthusiastically support and contribute to manufacturing program and tools
- Support the development of manufacturing processes; design, modify and test methods and equipment requirements
- Process improvements:
Conduct evaluations, suggest designs and spearhead development of manufacturing processes including production flow, assembly methods and production equipment - Mitigate waste: maximize efficiency and minimize waste
- Lean Six Sigma understanding:
Implement lean processes, conduct time studies, identify continuous improvement initiatives - Review, update and write detailed process work instructions and standard work
- Prepare 3D models and data for drawing change requests to customers
- Prepare first article inspection reports (FAIs) for new parts process changes
- Update capability monitoring data and maintain databases in Solumina and Net Inspect
- Prepare OEE spreadsheets and presentations for cell performance monitoring and improvement
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Industry experience of 5+ years preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in a LEAN environment and a familiarity with the methodology would be a plus
