Paramedic – Open Availability Required

Bio Life Plasma Services is looking for a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support plasma center operations. The role reports to the Plasma Center Manager and provides care to donors and ensures safety and quality.

• Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent, medical history interview, physical examination, and blood testing.
• Manage donor adverse events and review laboratory test results, notifying donors of unsuitable test results.
• Follow SOPs for medical emergencies, including standing orders and donor transport to emergency care facilities.
• Refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs for unacceptable findings, medical or technical issues, and donor safety and eligibility.
• Support hepatitis B and seasonal flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage employee incidents and determine if further evaluation is required by occupational health/ER, following EHS guidance.
• Support pandemic threat investigations within the local community as authorized by EHS.

• High school diploma or equivalent, including graduate from a recognized nursing program with state requirements.
• Current EMT‑Paramedic license or certification in the state where responsibilities will be assigned.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy.
• Complete FDA approved training requirements for Bio Life Medical Support Specialist.
• Two years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting.

U.S. hourly wage range: $20.88 – $28.71.
