Physical Therapist Assistant, Inpatient – Piedmont Columbus Northside

Salary: $70,000.00–$90,000.00.

The Physical Therapy Assistant, under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, provides physical therapy for all age groups, demonstrating competency with treatments, procedures, and equipment appropriate to the clinical setting and hospital policy. The assistant delivers physical therapy modalities and treatment procedures as determined by the treatment plan established by the physical therapist to enable patients to reach the highest level of physical independence.

• Assist in physical therapy sessions for patients under supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Implement treatment plans, modalities, and procedures to promote patient independence.
• Maintain and calibrate physical therapy equipment according to hospital policy.

• Associate’s degree from an approved Physical Therapist Assistant program (Required).

• No prior experience required (Required).

• Current Physical Therapy Assistant license in the State of Georgia or current compact privileges in Georgia (Required).

• BLS certification through AHA (Required).
