Advanced Practice Provider – Acute Care Surgery
Piedmont Columbus Regional is recruiting for an Advanced Practice Provider to join the Acute Care Surgery team at our Piedmont Columbus Midtown campus. This is a full- time position, 12 hours a day (7 days on Days/ 7 days Off).
In this role you will:

• Participate in the initial assessment and management of both acutely injured and emergency general surgery patients

• Perform bedside procedures in the hospital setting

• Rounding on patients in the hospital

• Applies specialized skills and knowledge related to the care of patients in the ICU

• Contributes to excellence in patient care, research, teaching, consulting and provides leadership to the organization

• Have the possibility of first assist duties in the operating room

Qualifications - External
Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by State of Georgia with National Certification
Emergency department experience as an NP in a busy trauma center is preferred.
