Position: Patient Access Representative Outpatient Psych, Full Time Day
Kindred Healthcare - St. Francis-Emory Healthcare [Medical Records Clerk] As a Patient Access Representative at Kindred Healthcare, you'll:
Pre-register/register patients with accurate patient demographic and financial data;
Verify coverage and ensure all insurance requirements are met;
Obtain all prior authorizations and/or referrals as appropriate prior to patient arrival;
Respond to the customers inquiries;
Manage daily appointment schedules, such as reminder calls and calling all referrals;
Perform scanning and accurately placing documents and results into the patient electronic medical record.
