Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Designs, develops, tests, and troubleshoots software packages for complex ETL processes, aligning with business requirements and service level agreements.
• Collaborates with technical business analysts to understand design documents and provides feedback for clarification.
• Creates data stage jobs for data movement and rules to populate the EDW and/or data mart.
• Works with testing teams and technical business analysts to resolve incidents.
• Partners with application developers, business partners, management, and the Data Warehouse team to extend data models, design fact tables, and deliver quality data integration projects.
• Develops ETL audits and controls to ensure data quality meets defined standards. Documents systems, processes, and logic for exposing data sets to end-users for reporting and analysis.
• Monitors ETL applications for performance, ensures data quality and security, and troubleshoots complex software problems.
• Communicates with key stakeholders, reviews project requirements, and conducts code review sessions.
• Stays informed about industry tools and techniques, applying this knowledge to system development.
• Identifies and reports risk within their functional area, following policies and procedures.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Experience Requirements:

• 8-10 years of relevant experience.
• 5 years of experience with IBM Info Sphere tools.
• 3-5 years of experience with Data Stage/Data Quality software.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Complete knowledge of IBM Data Stage/Data Quality software.
• Awareness of Data Stage interactions with other IBM Info Sphere components.
• Self-starter with a strong work ethic.
• Banking industry experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of data modeling and database design.
• Understanding of metadata and its management.
• Solid understanding of systems development life cycles, software best practices, and development methodologies.
• Understanding of building data warehouses for analytical and business intelligence solutions.
