What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a litigation attorney with 3-5 years of experience in criminal and civil litigation. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated self-starter with strong advocacy skills, a sharp legal mind, and a passion for the law. This is an opportunity to develop professionally and build a thriving litigation practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent clients in criminal defense and civil litigation matters from intake to resolution.
  • Manage cases through all stages of litigation, including trial.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Appear in court for hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
  • Engage in client counseling, case strategy development, and negotiations.
  • Work collaboratively with the legal team to ensure effective case management.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of litigation experience (criminal and/or civil).
  • Strong courtroom presence and ability to handle hearings and trials.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
  • Active Georgia Bar License (Required).
Responsibilities
  • Perform legal research, prepare for and attend hearings or other legal proceedings, and provide general counsel under the supervision of senior associate attorneys.
  • Assist clients in determining a proper solution to legal conflicts and determine the best course of action.
  • Maintain client files in an organized fashion to ensure up-to-date information is handy for other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.
  • Draft documents such as correspondence, pleadings, motions, briefs, affidavits, settlement agreements, and contracts to be used in proceedings and contract negotiations.
  • Communicate with senior associates, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently.
  • Prepare for and conduct criminal hearings and trials.
