Key Responsibilities
- Advanced skills in budget control, spend forecasting, invoice tracking, business case authoring, and comprehensive project management.
- Oversee complex projects from conception to completion, ensuring financial efficiency, adherence to deadlines, and high-quality deliverables.
- Implement rigorous budget control and spend forecasting measures.
- Track and manage invoices, ensuring all project expenditures are captured and allocated correctly.
- Craft detailed business cases for projects, articulating value proposition, cost-benefit analysis, and ROI.
- Develop and execute detailed project plans, identifying resources, timelines, and milestones.
- Maintain a comprehensive action register to track tasks, assignees, due dates, and statuses.
- Organize and lead project meetings (kick-offs, check-ins, reviews). Ensure effective communication and decision-making.
- Allocate and manage project resources effectively, addressing gaps and adjusting allocations.
- Proactively identify and assess risks and issues; develop mitigation and resolution strategies.
- Engage with stakeholders at all levels, provide updates, gather feedback, and ensure alignment.
- Implement quality control processes to meet or exceed standards and stakeholder requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Management, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of project management experience (manufacturing experience preferred).
- Expertise in financial management: budgeting, forecasting, invoice tracking.
- Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Asana, Trello) and financial tools.
- Experience in risk management, strategic planning, and change management.
- Professional certification (PMP, PRINCE2) highly desirable.
- Proficiency in office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with manufacturing/PFMEA systems.
- Strong problem‑solving mindset; ability to lead investigations and deliver corrective actions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multiple teams.
- U.S. Citizenship required for government contract access.
