What You Will DoColumbus Forge, a recognized leader in producing disks and airfoils for the aerospace propulsion market, is looking for dedicated individuals to support our organization. Primary Responsibilities- Investigate and provide root cause and corrective actions to address quality non-conformances.
- Provide engineering support for production operations including process support, troubleshooting, machine setup, and root cause analysis within the machining business unit including both conventional and non-conventional machining.
- Collect and analyze data to identify adverse trends and improvement opportunities.
- Knowledge of machining techniques and processes for manufacture.
- Interpret requirements to develop and maintain processes to manufacture parts and tooling to engineering drawing requirements.
- Assist in electronic work instruction creation for manufacturing use.
- Interpret manufacturing inspection data to ensure product meets engineering requirements.
- Work in a team environment and handle multi-tasking duties.
- Demonstrate commitment to the EH&S and continuous improvement programs by complying with all policies and procedures, completing all required training, and supporting all applicable committee activities.

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- 3 years technical experience
- 1 year manufacturing experience
- Experience troubleshooting manufacturing processes or machines
- CNC Machine operating and setup experience
- Experience operating or programming CMM equipment
- 2 year technical certificate
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- SAP experience
- Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.
Onsite:
Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
