What You Will Do: We have an opportunity for a Quality Inspection Team Member to be based in Columbus, GA (onsite role).

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work from applicable written inspection procedures and drawings.
  • Accept or refer material for rework or quality review based on findings.
  • Use a variety of fixed and variable measuring instruments.
  • Perform necessary mathematical computations to resolve extent of nonconformance and complete appropriate paperwork.
  • Follow proper procedures to perform in-line checks and verifications of dimensions and ensure operation sheets are followed.
  • Utilize pertinent instructions to plan and perform dimensional and visual inspection on parts, tools, gages and other equipment.
  • Recognize need and arrange for repair or replacement of equipment used in performing the work as necessary.
  • Perform routine servicing throughout assigned area following specified procedures and written instructions such as inspector's check list for upkeep and assure equipment operates properly.
  • Investigate unusual nonconforming inspection sequences and other specialized assignments within conformance and new or changed inspection sequences and seek guidance when needed.
  • May be assigned to carry out tasks not specifically listed to support department objectives and develop skills.
  • Follow all EH&S rules and guidelines.
  • Willing to work any shift, including an alternate work week. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ year of experience in quality/manufacturing environment

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Two to five years’ experience in quality/manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and quality procedures.
  • Understanding of internal and external customer requirements with high attention to detail in resolving findings.
  • Good organizational and mathematical skills.
