Stepan is seeking a Chemical Operator to join our team in Columbus, Georgia. In this role, you will report to the Production Superintendent.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform all phases of production in a chemical manufacturing environment, including inventory management of raw materials, blending procedures, SAP entry, housekeeping, and safe operations.

The position requires the employee to work 12-hour rotating shifts, with six weeks on days and six weeks on nights.

The successful candidate will start at the basic level of operations as a chemical operator and can progress based on skill set and ability to perform at different levels of the chemical operator position.

Qualifications:

1-3 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in the chemical industry.

Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.

Self-motivated with minimal supervision required to complete responsibilities.

Experience in manufacturing or chemical industry is preferred.

Education: High School Degree or equivalent.
