Maintenance Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Stay overtime to support emergency repairs or complete scheduled tasks.
• Provide off-shift plant support as part of the on-call maintenance rotation within six months of starting the position.
• Develop and execute minor mechanical or electrical projects.
• Create work orders using the Computerized Maintenance Management System.
• Use historical knowledge and data for sound decision-making.
• Support the Maintenance Planner in maintaining all PM records for compliance with permits and regulations.
• Participate in other work groups as requested.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience as an industrial mechanic.
• Electrical troubleshooting and installation are preferred but not required.
• Working knowledge of tools, appliances, and devices.
• Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.

Education

• High School Diploma; a 2-year Technical Degree is preferred.
